We currently have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced labourer for work with a road maintenance team based at Gundagai. Commencing ASAP, this role will involve working full time hours for a period of approximately 3-4 months until the end of June initially, with potential for further work being offered depending on satisfactory performance and operational needs. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered. Applicants will need to have current traffic control qualifications for at least TCR, and MUST reside within reasonable commuting distance to Gundagai for call-out work (maximum 30 minute commute) . Successful Applicants will need; Current WHS White Card Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain prior to start of work (online link able to be provided for successful applicant) Unrestricted Australian driver licence - with MR licence or above an advantage but not essential Traffic control ticket/s required good all round fitness for manual work tasks previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded Applicants will need to be fit for physically demanding work, and be a genuine team player.
